Karina studied filmmaking at the Avellaneda Institute of Cinematic Arts. She then continued her education in Fine Arts at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), studied actor direction with Augusto Fernandes, and even pursued an acting career, seeking the best preparation for her future as a director. She worked in production and later spent several years as an assistant director.

In 2000, she began directing commercials, specializing in performance-driven pieces and storytelling. Empathy, aesthetics, and sensitivity are her trademark qualities.

She directs commercials in the beauty and cosmetics industry, testimonials, stories with children, lifestyle content, emotional narratives, humor pieces, testimonials with real people, and projects featuring many celebrities from her country and across Latin America.

Since 2014, in addition to commercials, she has directed series for Disney, including children’s shows, musicals, and documentaries.

For her, filming is like the fulfillment of a “great dream.” It is her TRUE PASSION, and she pours her HEART AND SOUL into every project she undertakes!
