Lean Mancini holds degrees in Architecture, Post-Production Design, Photography, and Editing, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising. He began his career in the production department, later advancing as an editor and venturing into the world of post-production. He then worked as an assistant director, gaining valuable experience with renowned directors. Eventually, he decided to channel all his expertise into directing and began his career on the staff of various international production companies.
In 2001, he launched his own venture, Rasti Films, where he is currently a Director and co-founder. As a Director, Lean specializes in performance, humor, and storytelling. He is passionate about art, aesthetics, and post-production design.
Throughout his career, Lean has received numerous prestigious awards. In 2011, his work Andy Warhol for MALBA won Gold at the Monteaux Festival and Bronze at FIAP, and was also a finalist at The New York Festival and Cannes Lions. In 2010, his project Mundo Suave for Elite was a finalist at El Sol de Iberoamérica. In 2009, thanks to Bombero for Empléate, he received the top prize from ANDA. These accomplishments are not new for him—back in 1998, he was a finalist at Cannes Lions with Dog. In 1996, he was a finalist at The New York Festival with Water Closet, a piece that also won the top prize at the Argentine Creative Circle. That same year, Lapicera for Cablevisión was a finalist for the Lápiz de Platino, and his work Suicide for Hitachi earned the Gold award at the Monteaux Festival.
In June 2013, he joined the roster of Miami Film Roll, represented by our production company across the US.
